Step 1: Open chrome.

Step 2. Navigate to OBSProject.com and click download.

Step 3. If you are using windows 10 64 bit you should be able to simply click download installer.

Step 4. Once the download has completed Click on it in the Chrome tray to initiate install.

Step 5. Your computer should at this point ask to verify you are trying to make changes to your system. Click yes to proceed.

Step 6. Click Next to begin the installation (at this point the system will running a dependency check)

Step 7. If your computer is missing run time components, you will be notified now, click yes and you will be navigated to the download page for the component you are missing, if you do not see this message, skip to step 18 .

Step 8. After click yes, the installer will close (without completing you will not have installed OBS) and navigate you to a page containing your missing dependency. Click on the hyperlink to download the file.

Step 9. When the download completes initiate it by clicking on it in the download tray in chrome.

Step 10. Select the check box that says you agree, and then click install.

Step 11. Select yes to allow the installer to make changes to your system settings.

Step 12. Once the installer is complete click close. You have now installed your OBS Dependencies so we can now continue to install OBS.

Step 13. We now need to get back to our OBS installer, if your computer is set to default settings and download locations you should be able to follow the steps laid out ahead, if not you will have find the file manually and continue from step 16.

In the system Tray click on the little folder icon.

Step 14. When the file explorer opens up, click on downloads in the left hand menu.

Step 15. Locate the OBS Studio install file and double click on it.

Step 16. Click yes to allow the installer to make changes to your system.

Step 17. Click next, again it will do its automated dependency check, but this time it should find all it needs and progress to the next step.

Step 18. click “I agree” to continue setup.

Step 19. Select your installation folder and select next (i would recommend leaving these settings default unless you have a specific reason not too).

Step 20. Next you will be asked to select components to install. Again i would recommend leaving this as default unless you need to change it, then just click install.

Step 21. Now click finish to complete the setup and launch OBS! Please see the configuring OBS Guide (Due to be published), for information on how to configure your OBS Setup!
